Meeting Minutes for April 10, 2017

7:10pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:32pm – Meeting was called to order – Pledge of Allegiance & Conservation pledge

Introduction of Officers: Stephen Gustkey-Pistol, Mike Cumberland-President, Jim Hacke- Secretary, Brian Jesteadt-Membership, Mike Ripley-Jr. Rifle/Black Powder and Tom Horstman- Trap.

Treasurer’s Report: John Hiser was absent. Steve reported we paid half the boiler replacement bill and paid for the new lights that were purchased for the indoor range. We received our renewed CMP certificate.

Pop: Steve turned in $10 from pop sales out of fridge.

Rental Committee Report: Iron Mountain will be at club April 11th and 18th. April 22nd will be the pistol team banquet. Constables will be doing training at club April 28th, 29th, 30th.

Pistol Team: Pistol team shoots on Thursdays from 5 PM till dark. $2 a night or $20 for all summer. 22 cal. & Center fire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom is turning in $234.74 of which $52.28 came from practice and $182.46 from league.

Black Powder: Mike said that he will be turning in $300 from the frolic and turned in $35 from the meat shoots. Meat shoots will be moving to 11 AM on 2nd Sundays of every month

Junior Rifle Team: Due to the large turn out of kids Junior Rifle is now being split up into 2 groups of beginner and advanced. Advanced shooters will be meeting on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month while beginners will be shooting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Mike turned in $41.

Archery: Still looking for members who want to put together a team of shooters to practice.

Fun Indoor Shoot: Dickie turned in $140 from the 1st Monday in Sept. They shoot 1st, 3rd and 4th Monday every month @ 7pm. everyone is welcome. Open sights with .22 caliber rifles from a rested position.

Membership: Brian read new memberships and collected $310 of which $35 to maintenance fund and $275 to general fund and $20 from key cards.

Old Business: Mark McDivit was the winner of the Mower auction with a bid of $900. Thanks to all who bid. New lights for the indoor range were hung up. Signs for each vehicle entrance came in stating that the club is for members only.

New Business: Steve said that the pistol team is looking into replacing their shooting tables with new ones that will have wheels.
